Exhibition: Menno Fahl

In this exhibition we are presenting works by the artist Menno Fahl, with whom the gallery has been working closely since 1998. Menno Fahl uses his colors because of their spatial effect and thus characterizes the expansive planes, but at the same time the color sets its own accents, which burst open the boundaries of the forms again. On the one hand, the homogeneous act of painting thus guarantees the optically justified unity by binding the heterogeneous materials together, while on the other hand it brings about differentiating shifts that represent a reinterpretation of the sculptural values. The sculptural form is thus transformed into an independent painterly system. (Jens-Martin Neumann)
